We hope this text reaches you and your fluffy companion in the best condition. Unfortunately, we have to give you some less pleasant news today regarding your eagerly awaited KittyFlap.

But first we would like to thank you for your patience and the trust you have placed in us with your pre-order. We know that you, like us, have been waiting with great anticipation for November and the arrival of the new KittyFlap.

What happened?
After an exhausting final spurt in the production of the KittyFlaps, we got the first 100 ready for dispatch last week. These first hundred KittyFlaps would have been delivered to you this week. Then, on Thursday morning, we received the shocking news: a major fire had broken out in the industrial zone.

This major fire also affected one of our most important service providers. His production facility as well as our warehouse and the first batch of KittyFlaps were destroyed by the flames. The industrial halls burned to the ground. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The effects of the fire
This incident not only severely affects our service provider, but also means a further delay in the delivery of KittyFlaps. The first delivery should have been a celebration, but now everything has come to a halt again. This is understandably very frustrating. What happens now?

The next steps
We are not giving up – after consulting with our investors, we have already made the decision to resume production immediately and to clarify the financial insurance issues afterwards.

We are now in the process of reordering materials and replacing the production of the first product batches as quickly as possible.

We promise to keep you up to date in the coming weeks and inform you in detail about the new delivery dates.
