There is great news: After the challenging setback of the major fire that destroyed our production and significantly delayed delivery, we are pleased to have reached a significant milestone. We will be starting production in March full of confidence and, thanks to intensive coordination with our suppliers, will be able to announce the
the first official delivery date
for the KittyFlap.
First “wave” of delivery dates known
We are delighted to announce the first firm delivery date for the KittyFlap, a milestone that has been achieved thanks to the close cooperation with our suppliers.
Here are the details:
WAVE 1: This first wave affects all pre-orders from June 2023. Your patience will pay off, because your KittyFlaps will be available in calendar weeks 11 and 12 will be delivered. So you can receive your delivery between 11.03. and 24.03.2024 are expected.
WAVE 2, 3, 4 & 5 – Delivery plans in preparation: For all pre-orders from July onwards, we are planning delivery in various waves over the following calendar weeks. We are continuing to work intensively with our suppliers to increase production volumes per calendar week and launch larger quantities. This detailed information will be available to us soon.
Please note that we want to provide you with reliable and dependable information. We plan to announce further waves in the coming weeks.
Further progress and announcements
Production planning is running at full speed. We are currently solving the final challenges and are already starting the first fine-tuning work. We will soon be able to plan production for the whole year.
App redesign development in the final spurt
Our app development is making great progress. The redesign for the first delivery will make your experience with the KittyFlap even more intuitive and better.
Important update on PayPal fees
Due to unexpected difficulties with our payment provider PayPal, we are forced to introduce additional fees for all new orders paid with PayPal. For orders from Germany a fee of 6% and for orders from Switzerland a fee of 5% will be charged.
All other means of payment remain free of charge!
We understand that this is an unexpected change, but we would like to emphasize that this only applies to new orders.
For all those who have already pre-ordered, nothing will change
– You will continue to benefit from the originally agreed price. We are committed to minimizing the impact of this change for our loyal customers and are working on alternative solutions to continue to provide you with the best service.
