We are back after our short Christmas and New Year break. As promised, we will now provide you with weekly updates on your order and the progress made in resolving the delivery delays. We are ready to start the new year with positive news and important developments.

Happy New Year and a big thank you

First of all, we would like to wish you and your four-legged friend a happy new year! Your patience and support have been enormously valuable to us, especially over the past year. We know that the waiting time was challenging.

We understand that you are eagerly awaiting your KittyFlap. We are currently unable to provide exact delivery dates, as production and delivery depend on many factors. We will inform you as soon as we have specific dates. Please also bear in mind that our suppliers had company vacations over the Christmas and New Year holidays and were only able to work to a limited extent.

For all new KittyFlap customers: Why were there delays?

Here is a brief review: The delays in the delivery of the KittyFlap were caused by a devastating fire in our production facility and warehouse – just before the delivery of the first batch.

This incident destroyed our entire warehouse and finished stock as well as the assembly line and the entire quality assurance system. But thanks to the support of our loyal pre-order customers, investors, suppliers and the dedicated KittyFlap team, we were able to quickly reorient ourselves. We have not given up and have done everything we can to get back up and running as quickly as possible to ensure the production and delivery of your KittyFlap.

Current developments: We are making progress

Progress in the production hall and machinery
Things are progressing rapidly in the new production hall. The majority of the machines have already been installed. A few machines are still missing, but these will be delivered and set up shortly. The imminent installation of the last machines in our production hall brings the start of our first production batch much closer.

Trial injection molded parts
The first test injection molded parts are scheduled for next week. These are crucial for identifying any errors and ensuring the quality of the injection molded parts.

Quality assurance robot
The construction of the robot continues. We are waiting for some electronic components, the robot will be ready for use as soon as the first KittyFlaps are ready.

Delivery of components and shipping materials
The first deliveries have arrived and are being checked for quality and completeness. Further deliveries are on their way and are expected in the coming weeks.

Successful TÜV inspections and continuous improvements
The new TÜV tests for the KittyFlap have been successfully completed. During this challenging time, our team has been working hard to improve the KittyFlap even further.

Progressive development of the KittyflApp
The planned update continues to take shape and promises an even more intuitive design as well as an improved display for handling your KittyFlap. This update will significantly enhance the user experience and allow you to interact with your KittyFlap more easily and enjoyably.
